1. Who we are

班級英雄 ClassHero ("ClassHero", "we", "us") is a classroom gamification web app for teachers, operated by KTH Studio, an independent software developer based in Hong Kong (班級英雄（由香港獨立開發者 KTH Studio 營運）). You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What the service is

ClassHero lets teachers turn classroom performance into in-game progress: student characters, seating-chart points, boss battles, a world map, pet gacha, an auction house and mini-games. It requires a teacher account and stores class data on the teacher's behalf.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully or to infringe anyone's rights.
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
Do not resell, rebrand, or redistribute the service as your own.
Only enter student information you are entitled to process as their teacher or school.

4. Plans and pricing

Individual teacher plan. HK$30/month billed monthly, or HK$248/year billed annually (save over 30%). 個人版 HK$30／月或 HK$248／年（慳 3 成）。
School plan. HK$3,880/year including 40 teachers (including the school admin), billed annually; additional teacher seats are HK$88/year each, prorated when added mid-term. The school plan is limited to teachers sharing the same school email domain; please contact us for exceptions. 學校方案 HK$3,880／年（40 位老師），額外老師每位 HK$88／年；限同一學校 email 網域，例外情況請聯絡我哋。
Lifetime membership (founder price). HK$988 one-time payment, limited to the first 100 members, giving permanent access to all individual-plan features for as long as ClassHero is operated. It does not renew and is not a school plan. 終身會員（創始價）HK$988 一次過付款，限首 100 位，喺班級英雄營運期間永久使用個人方案全部功能。
Free trial. New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. 14 日免費試用，唔使信用卡。
Early-upgrade and early-bird discounts. If you upgrade during your free trial: 50% off on days 1–3, 30% off on days 4–7 and 15% off on days 8–14 of the trial. The discount applies to the first 3 months of the monthly plan or the first year of the annual plan. The Lifetime founder price (HK$988) has no further discount. Every year in August and September (Hong Kong time), the annual individual plan and the school plan get 20% off the first year. Discounts cannot be combined; where more than one applies, the larger one is used. 試用期內升級：第 1–3 日 5 折、第 4–7 日 7 折、第 8–14 日 85 折；月費適用首 3 個月，年費適用首年；終身創始價 HK$988 不設額外折扣；每年 8–9 月早鳥：年費同學校方案首年 8 折；優惠不可疊加。
Auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, depending on your plan) until you cancel.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewal; your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.

5. Student data

Student data you enter into ClassHero is managed solely by you (the teacher) or your school account administrator. See our Privacy Policy for how it is stored and handled.

6. 軟件授權及使用限制 Software licence and restrictions

你訂閱或試用期間，我哋授予你（個人老師）或你所屬學校一項有限、非獨家、不可轉讓、不可再授權嘅使用權，只可以用嚟喺課堂上使用班級英雄。服務本身並非出售畀你。

禁止複製、下載保存、反編譯、反組譯、逆向工程或嘗試取得本服務嘅原始碼。
禁止以人手或自動方式（爬蟲、腳本等）抓取、擷取或重用本服務嘅程式碼、插畫、圖像、文字、介面設計或版面，亦不得據此製作相似或衍生產品。
禁止轉售、出租、分發、再授權或以任何方式將本服務或其任何部分提供畀第三方。
禁止分享帳戶、密碼或登入連結；每個帳戶只限一位老師使用。學校方案只限同一學校 email 網域嘅老師使用。

如違反本節，我哋可以即時暫停或終止你嘅帳戶，已繳費用概不退還，並保留追究法律責任及索償嘅權利。

English: We grant you (an individual teacher) or your school a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use ClassHero for classroom purposes during your trial or subscription; the service is licensed, not sold. You must not copy, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code; scrape, extract or reuse any code, illustrations, images, text or interface design (manually or by automated means) or build similar or derivative products from them; resell, rent, distribute or sublicense the service or any part of it; or share accounts or sign-in links (one teacher per account; school plans are limited to teachers on the same school email domain). Breach of this section allows us to suspend or terminate your account immediately without refund, and we reserve all rights to pursue legal remedies. All code, illustrations, images, text and interface design are © 2026 ClassHero. All rights reserved. This section is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR.

7. Availability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend, or discontinue it at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong SAR have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
