Who we are

ClassHero is operated by KTH Studio, an independent software developer based in Hong Kong. Contact: [email protected].

What is stored

• Teacher account. Your email address and subscription status, so you can sign in and we can manage your plan.
• Class data. Student names, scores, and in-game progress that a teacher enters are stored in a cloud database hosted by Supabase, our database provider.

Who can see it

Only the teacher who entered the data, or their school's authorised account administrator, can access it. We do not sell student or teacher data to anyone, and we do not run advertising or third-party tracking.

Using codes instead of real names

Teachers may use student codes or aliases instead of real names if they prefer not to store identifiable student information.

Export and deletion

Teachers can export or delete their class data at any time from within the app, or by emailing [email protected].

Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.

What else leaves your browser

• Hosting. This site is served by GitHub Pages. GitHub receives your IP address and browser user-agent when it serves the page, as any web server does.
• Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives the request for those font files.

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected].
